We are a small group of bat enthusiasts with a variety of experience, by no means all bat experts!
We would love to do more to spread the word island-wide about these fascinating creatures and help protect them, but we need members that would like to get actively involved.

For example, would you enjoy working with teachers and youth leaders to enthuse and inform the island’s children about our local bats? We are sometimes asked to help local youth/school groups by doing a bat walk and Q&A during summer term activity week or by giving a talk to a year group at a primary school. However, we are limited by availability of volunteers, especially during the day. We have lots of resources to call upon to create talks/presentations. It would be great to have a small group of people who would like to learn more about bats, and who enjoy talking to groups, to then be able to actively offer this service to local primary schools etc.
