Next Wednesday 6th January: members' meeting, 19.30 either blended (face-to-face and zoom) or zoom only depending on the regulations at the time. The topic: using static bat detectors to demonstrate bat migration activity.

Adrian Bicker will be giving a talk via zoom on his research which looks at using static bat detectors to demonstrate bat migration activity. There will be lots of information about how he has approached and developed this project and what changes in activity levels over long-period (3 month) surveys –could mean. All very relevant for our own studies and interesting to see what parallels can be drawn with what we observe in Jersey.

Please email us at enquiries@jerseybatgroup.org if you will be attending & we can send you the zoom link for the meeting.
