Our next event is an on-line talk on Tuesday 6th February 2024 at 19.00- by Piers Sangan on The Grey Long-eared Bat Project.
Piers is a well-established Ecologist in Jersey, with over 15 years of experience working with a wide range of protected species in Jersey and across the Channel Islands, specialising in bats. This talk will introduce the world of grey long-eared bats in Jersey, and discuss what we know so far that has been discovered through the Jersey Grey Long-eared Bat Project that Piers started in 2019. The Jersey Grey Long-eared Bat Project is the only project in the Channel Islands that continuously monitors known established grey long-eared bat maternity roosts, and works to improve the knowledge of their biology and ecology.
