We are looking for a volunteer Chairperson. You should enjoy keeping in touch with the committee and other volunteers and be happy, once you have settled in, to represent the group (e.g., introducing a speaker at an event, or talking about the work and objectives of JBG to the media). As with all our activities, you don’t have to know about bats to start with – the best way to learn is to take part in the group’s activities!
We are a small group of bat enthusiasts with a variety of experience – by no means all bat experts!
We would love to do more to spread the word island-wide about these fascinating creatures and help protect them, but we need members that would like to get actively involved.
