We are fortunate to be working with BatCRU in order for an Advanced Bat training techniques course to be run in Jersey between 18 & 24th July 2016. This course covers everything from bat identification to trapping, tagging and radio tracking.
Whilst on the course you will be participating in our woodland bat project, and all profits from the course will be put towards purchasing equipment for this research project.

Although this is an advanced course, and therefore a reasonable level of experience and knowledge is expected from participants, Annyctulus Ecology will be holding a number of sessions on bat ecology and ID  prior to this course in order to allow all members to reach a level to be able to get the most from the week, therefore even those members who have only just joined us should be able to sign up for the course should they wish to.  Please look at the facebook page on Annyctulus Ecology for details.

Places are limited therefore should you wish to attend please contact admin@batcru.org as soon as possible!
