From around June to Sept we get calls from concerned people about grounded bats. Usually these can be re-hydrated, fed and released within 24-48 hours.
Our 2 busy carers do not always have the time to go and collect a bat from wherever it is – New Era vets, private household etc.
The JBG can pay for you to be trained using an excellent BCT on-line course if you are interested in helping out, and our carers can give you hands on training if you would like to become more involved.
