Are you passionate about wildlife and conservation? Do you enjoy bringing people together? Would you like to help increase public awareness and understanding about our local bat populations?
Then join the Jersey Bat Group and help organise bat walks for the public and for groups.
Training will be given but you don’t need to be an expert on bats – just enjoy being out and about at sunset (the best time to see bats) and chatting to people.
If you like organising, then even better – you can help set up the walk arrangements, monitor ticket sales, respond to queries etc.
We will be holding an open meeting on Wednesday 19th March, starting at 19.30, at the Societé Jersiaise, Pier Road. You are very welcome to come along, chat to members and the committee, and decide what you would like to get involved in. No need to book. See you there!
